Old Bank Coffee House is a neighbourhood multi-roaster coffee shop, set in a former bank building located in the heart of East Barnet’s village community, founded by husband and wife team Christos and Tara.

Currently we serve a house espresso, decaf espresso and a range of daily changing filter coffees which consist of a variety of the best seasonal single - origin coffees, sourced from around the world. We also offer a selection of carefully chosen guest roasters on our recently launched guest programme.

We are delighted to be working with The Estate Dairy who produce some of the best quality milk for a small selection of coffee shops in London. Gently pasteurised and never homogenised this milk is produced from pedigree Guernsey cows resulting in a unique golden colour and a beautiful rich flavour, perfect for those milky espressos. We also stock a range of milk alternatives including almond, coconut, soya and oat.

The coffee is brewed on Conti MC Ultima and Marco Bru F60A paired with a set of Mahlkonig E65S, Compak E5 and EK43.

Whether you prefer something sweet or savoury, we also offer a variety of our favrouite pastries and sourdough toasties fresh every day as the sun rises from the award-winning Holtwhites Bakery, specially curated snacks and soft drinks from independent makers - so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Alongside our light filled main coffee room, we have plenty of seating with numerous plug points, a pram area (with baby changing in both bathrooms) and a secluded children’s play space. We are also dog-friendly, and allow dogs in our main coffee room but ask they staff off the seating and sofas.

As a family owned, independent coffee shop, we hope that these carefully chosen quality details orchestrate a truly exceptional coffee experience when you visit.

Currently eat in, takeaway and card payments only.
